2008 Emerging Leaders Program

A New and Exciting Program Expansion
As part of the Give 10 Initiative, we wish to acknowledge and cultivate those donors who may not yet be giving at the $10,000 level. The Emerging Leaders Program allows select donors to “grow” into a $10,000-per-year level of giving over three years. Donors who enroll in the Give 10 Initiative’s Emerging Leaders Program will be eligible to receive an invitation to Pat Stryker's Give 10 Grand Gala for each year they are enrolled in the Give 10 Initiative.

Emerging Leaders Giving Commitment
• Donors must contribute $5,000 to Larimer County charities in year one.
• Donors must contribute $7,500 to Larimer County charities in year two.
• Donors must contribute $10,000 or more in year three.

Matching Funds for Emerging Leaders
Upon completion of a three-year giving commitment, and in honor of the emerging leader, an exclusive one-time Bohemian Foundation matching grant of $10,000 will be paid to one, or the grant may be split between two, eligible Larimer County 501(c)3 nonprofit organization(s) of the donor’s choosing.

Nonprofit Partners
Nonprofit representatives are in the best position to help identify strong candidates for the Emerging Leaders Program. To leverage greater giving, partner with us to enroll existing and prospective donors. Consideration should be given to a donor’s interest and ability to increase his/her charitable giving to the $10,000 per year level. The Community Foundation is available to consult with donors and/or nonprofit representatives who want to learn more about the required giving commitments.

    Donor Enrollment:
  1. Donors contribute $5,000 to any combination of eligible Larimer County 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations during a calendar year and commit to the giving structure described above.
  2. After the qualifying donation(s) is/are made, the donor, or nonprofit representative with permission of the donor, may complete and submit the simple Emerging Leaders Program Enrollment Form.
  3. After submitting the enrollment form, the donor will receive, by email, an enrollment confirmation. An official invitation to the Give 10 Grand Gala - Larimer County's premier celebration of philanthropy - will be mailed as the event date approaches.
  4. Upon completion of the three-year commitment, donors will be asked to designate their one-time Bohemian Foundation matching grant of $10,000 to one, or the grant maybe split between two, eligible Larimer County 501(c)3 nonprofit organization(s).
  5. Matching funds must be designated to an eligible Larimer County 501(c)3 nonprofit organization(s). Ineligible organizations include churches, houses of worship, tuition-based private schools, political campaigns and private foundations.
